AIDA Don Bosco, SBI Gram Seva programme Dimapur celebrated International Women’s Day with five of the adopted villages.

Dimapur, March 8 (MExN): ANMA Integrated Development Association (AIDA) - Don Bosco, SBI Gram Seva programme Dimapur, Nagaland celebrated International Women’s Day with five of the adopted villages- Khriezephe, Diezephe, Tsithrongse, Urra and Bade at Tsithrongse village.
On the occasion, AIDA-SBI Gram Seva took initiative to build support for women’s participation in the economic arenas handed over 240 kgs of yarn to women weaving group, 150 plastic chairs to Yohruta SHG, and three brush cutters to farmers SHG – Atheru Mulong of Tsithrongse village.
Prizes were handed over to winners of folk song competition to four of the villages which was conducted on the occasion of World Radio Day celebration February 13, AIDA-SBI Gram Seva stated in a press release.
The guests for the event were Yimok Phom, Assistant District Programme Manager DRDA, Dimapur, Dept of Rural Development, Nagaland as special guest and Temsurenla Jamir, Chief Manager, Sales and Business Development, SBI, RBO, Dimapur as the guest of honour.
Rev Fr Nebu Mathew, SDB Rector Don Bosco Dimapur implored God’s blessings on the occasion and blessed the materials and equipment handed over to the beneficiaries and Rev Fr N Angel Kuldeep, SDB Associate Director, AIDA welcome the guest for the day.
