The Ao Kaketshir Mungdang (Ao Students’ Conference) hosted the fifth edition of We Care concert at Imkongmeren Sports Complex on December 12. We Care V concert was hosted by AKM in aid of free coaching classes corpus fund.
Minister RD& SIRD, Metsubo Jamir was the chief host of the event. In his speech, Jamir said that education should not be job-oriented but focus more on skill development and enhancement. He encouraged the students not to focus only on government jobs but to enhance one's skill and try to generate income through it.
The concert witnessed performances from Hailnator, Tiameren Aier, Chubatsur Jamir, Tiaren Lusang, Akumsen Lemtur, Sunep Lemtur and Lenen Jamir. Dreamz Unlimited also had a special appearance at the concert.
The concert was attended by citizens of Mokokchung town and from near and far villages and also by various civil organisations, district administrative officers and other dignitaries.
The first edition of We Care was held in 2007 in aid of flood and landslide victims of Mokokchung district.
