The 1st Alderians (1992-94) batch of Alder College, Kohima today gathered after 29 years for Reunion 2021 programme at Khruomo Mechüki Tsiatsüphe, Kohima.
Speaking on the occasion, Benjamin Lorin stressed on the need to carry out some charitable works for the society. He also felt the need to give back to the society by instituting the Trust Fund to help the needy people.
Rev Dr Obed Marhu challenged the 1992-94 batch of Alder College to reason together and live upto the principle of truthfulness in life. “Let your “Yes be Yes” and “No be No,” he said and challenged the classmate of 1992-94 batch to stay faithful to their words.
Süpoyi Vezhü also challenged the members to come forward and assists one another, be it physical, mental and emotional needs.
During discussion hour, it had constituted office bearers with Benjamin Lorin as president, vice president – Lingkatuba Longkumer, general secretary- Diethonguzo Miachieo, assistant general secretary- Amenla Bendang and Shanbeni Yanthan as treasurer. The advisors included; Rev Dr Obed Marhu, Süpoyi Vezhü, Moatotoshi Jamir, Lhoulakhono Savino, Neikerienuo Sote and Vekhoto Tetseo.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by Dr Khriezodilhou Yhome while welcome address was delivered by Vekhoto Tetseo. Erinbeni unveiled the souvenir of 1st Alderians while vote of thanks was proposed by Kevisebilie Angami.
