The three-day Asia Harvest Alliance Conference 2020 started off at IMC Hall, Dimapur on January 29. Over 380 delegates from Singapore, Bhutan, Nepal and various states of India are attending the annual conference held under the theme ‘Alignment, Vision, Expansion.’

Giving a brief introduction of the Asia Harvest Alliance (AHA), Shan Kikon, Pastor of Faith Harvest Church, Kohima said, “AHA is not a ministry but a powerful fellowship and family centered on the vision to serve, to grow deeper in relationship and built the Kingdom of God.”

Addressing the gathering of pastors and church leaders, he asserted that “there is necessity for the body of Christ to be aligned with the tune and frequency of God’s own heart inorder for us to become the manifestation of heaven.”

In his message, Pastor Shan said that people are the treasure God has entrusted them to take care of. “When you are unfaithful with money, your church will not grow. If you cannot tithe, how can you be trusted with more responsibility?” he stated.

He also cautioned the church leaders “not to focus on the physical but by what God sees; not to go just by anointing but by integrity and value; not to choose speakers by reputation but by what God shows.”

Pastor Shan also said that how one views their church members is very important. “Change the terminology in the heart from members to the Father’s sheep and be passionate about everyone knowing that they are your responsibility from God.”

Denouncing the contention of “sheep stealing”, Pastor Shan said, “If you want your church to grow, get right with God first. Whatever ministry you have today is your land. Don’t compete, compare or covet other’s garden.”

Speaking on the topic “Know you are not a victim,” Rev Dr Samuel Patta, The King's Temple Church, Hyderabad lamented that Christians go with a victim’s mentality because of the experience they go through. However, he said, “We are called to live with a victor’s mentality.”

“What you believe is what you attract. Your asking should be supported by believe. The promise is there but to posses that, God expects your active participation. Be focused and know that your strength comes from what God says. Never build your faith on people. Spend time in His presence, praying and meditating and thus, creating awareness and consciousness of God,” Rev Samuel said.

He also said that “church should be a solution provider” and therefore, it is vital for Christians to understand that “our success comes from the influence of God from the heavenly realm.”

Disapproving the idea that pastors should be good orators, Rev Samuel said “you are not called to be a motivational speaker but to be the voice of God. Our job is to give life, healing, deliverance and to set the captives free.”

He also encouraged the delegates to develop their uniqueness. “Everyone is called to different purpose. Built and harness what God has called you to become. The issue is what God is declaring you to be. That is where your faith comes in.”

For demonstrating the Kingdom of God, Rev Samuel said that there has to be supernatural elements. “The authenticity of the gospel is demonstrated by the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit. The miraculous is important. That is when you will come out of the victim’s mentality,” he stated while adding that “God never just meets our need but over-supplies. He is an extravagant but not a wasteful God.”

In conclusion, he said that the image we carry about ourselves plays a vital role in how we conduct our life. “A person will never rise above their self image. You can only manifest yourself image. It is all about what and how you see yourself in the future that will determine your life.”

Throughout the conference, the morning session will be held from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm for registered delegates while evening service open for all starts at 5:00 pm.
