MLA and Advisor, H Tovihoto Ayemi inaugurates the colony gate of NST Colony held on September 24.

Dimapur, September 24 (MExN): MLA and Advisor, Power Department, H Tovihoto Ayemi on Saturday stated that “all 60 legislators of Nagaland Legislative Assembly, irrespective of political party are committed for an early solution to the long-lasting Naga political issue which is the dream and aspiration of every Naga.”
As per the official press release issued by Media Cell for Advisor Power Department, Tovihoto said that entire Naga population is anxiously awaiting the negotiating parties to expedite the process to pen the final settlement.
As special guest, Tovihoto was addressing a public gathering at the inauguration of colony gate and thanksgiving programme of NST Colony held on September 24.
He reiterated that BJP Nagaland as a party is equally committed that the aspirations of the Naga people are fulfilled and fully supports the solution that is honourable and acceptable to the Naga people that will usher in a new era of peace and harmony, all round progress and economic growth.
“Progressive society exists only where there is unity and cooperation among the people and everyone contributing for its welfare and encouraged the public to have a holistic and cohesive approach when it comes to the peace and harmony and welfare of the society. Community engagement plays a crucial role in transforming communities and in the overall development of the society,” he maintained.
On the developmental front, the Advisor stated that the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) government in the state is sincerely working for development of all regions of the state and that the government under the leadership of Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio is making all efforts to bring more and more developmental activities in the state.
He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi's concern for the state of Nagaland along with the rest of the country is praiseworthy. “It is because of the relentless support of the central government, a number of schemes and programmes have reached every households and thus improving the lives of the common mass,” he added.
