Dimapur, March 10 (MExN): The Sumi Chess Association Nagaland (SCAN) will conduct the All Nagaland Open Chess Championship 2021 from March 25-27 at Tourist Lodge, Dimapur.
The championship will be held in three categories - Open category with entry fee of Rs 1000 and Rs 500 for U-16 category and U-18 category respectively.
Interested players of U-14 and U-18 will have to submit their valid date of birth certificate (Aadhaar card/PAN/Class 10 admit card if any) as proof to WhatsApp number 8732883086, a press release from SCAN informed.
A 50% concession is available for Senior citizens (above the age of 65 years), it said.
Any indigenous Naga and player serving in various departments in Nagaland will be allowed to participate in the Championship, it added.
The total prize money for the championship is Rs 1,50,000.
