Morung Express News Dimapur | May 6 The 2nd Along Memorial T-20 Cricket Running Trophy took off at the DDSC Stadium, Dimapur on May 6. The tournament is organised by the IJ (Imsu-Jonathan) Group and sponsored by the family of the late Along Longkumer. A total of 9 teams will battle it out over 4 days in the lead up to the final on May 13. In the tournament opener, ESA Cricket Warrior’s defeated Victoria Cricket (VCC) Club by 6 wickets. Winning the toss and electing to bat, VCC were all out 102 in 15 overs. ESA sailed pass the target with 4 wickets to spare. Blue Star won against Royal Tourniquet in the second match defending a score of 188. Royal Tourniquet were bowled out 121 in 18 overs.
