The Rali Wali of the so-called NNC (Non-Accordist) on 22nd and 23rd August, 2012 in local dailies stated “The NNC (Non-Accordist) organisation of the parent body has elected Mr. Kiumukam, Yimchunger to be a full fledged President by the regional Chairman along with the cabined on 14.8.2012 and have declared on the national auspicious day, the Nagas Independent Day.” It is quite improper and to be foul the truth and reality of the Naga Nation.
The NNC President can never be elected by the Regional Chairman along with the cabinet of a so-called group. It is the right and responsibility of the Naga people as a whole to constitutionally elect the President of the Naga National Council (NNC) as a nation. No Nation or a National Council, anywhere throughout the world did conduct its presidential election on its National Day. The 14th August, 2012 was the 66th Independence Day of our Nation. Thus conducting an election by the so-called NNC (Non-Accordist) on 14th August, 2012 the Naga National Day is a lunatic and an anti-national activity. The Naga people never formed the NNC (Non-Accordist) at any point of time and the so-called NNC (Non-Accordist) is absolutely a Self made group. Therefore I am sincerely advising them to dissolve themselves and join NNC the parent body of the Naga Nation.
