ANCDPOA annual general meeting held

Kohima, June 21 (MExN): The 30th annual general meeting of the All Nagaland Child Development Project Officer's Association (ANCDPOA) was held on June 19 at Highland Park, Kohima with the motto Unity, Dexterity and Service.”

Addressing the gathering as the special guest, Tosheli Zhimomi, Director, Department of Social Welfare Nagaland, reminded the officers that “we are all working under a mission (ICDs) for the children who are the future of the nation and.”

She said that CDPOs are working for strengthening the children and touching lives and bringing hopes.

Our mission can become a movement not only to the children but even to the adolescence, she added.

Zhimomi also lauded the officers, who despite the challenges and obstacles, continue to sincerely work hard and execute with dedication.

She further urged all the officers present to try to shine and work with the spirit of innovation, team work and sportsmanship.

With the advancement of IT and its challenges, Zhimomi said “We all have to harness the use of technology and keep updated ourselves with the mission app and strengthen monitoring mechanism and promote community participation.”

Since we are dealing with human being, she reminded participation of community is very important and to further ensure that every Anganwadi centre become a vibrant centre of learning.

Earlier, ANCDPOA president  L. Nikuto Chishi said the Association has grown thus far because of its strong and vibrant foundation with the members working  together with oneness has brought many changes.
