ANCSU 21st Biennial General Conference from Oct 24 to 26

Kohima, October 21(MExN): The ANCSU  (ANCSU) 21st Biennial General Conference will be hosted by Mount Tiyi College, Wokha under the theme ‘Perseverance’ from October 24 to 26.  

The 21st Biennial General Conference will be a seminar oriented event involving brainstorming session, music and art with participations of dignitaries and resource persons from different professions, stated an update issued by Dievi Yano, Convenor, Organising committee and Benjong Longchar, Co-Convenor, Organising Committee.

ANCSU is prepared to host 1000 delegates from 40 affiliated colleges, associate colleges and invitees from across the state to exhibit, ameliorate and express concerns for the welfare of the college students community and Naga society in general, it stated. 

The conference will incorporate four sessions. Y Mhonbemo Humtsoe MLA, Temjen Imna Along Minister for Higher Education & Tourism GoN, Senchumo NSN Lotha former President Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) & former Secretary General North East Students’ Organisation (NESO) and Medovi Rhi President Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) will address the students as introductory guest, inaugural guest, theme speaker and valedictory guest respectively.

A Collegiate Nite is being organised on the last day for the college students to exhibit their talents in the field of Music, Art, Poetry, it infofmed. 

During the conference, the ANCSU general elections will be held to elect new office bearers for the tenure 2023-25. The last union assembly for the tenure 2021-23 will also be held during the conference to discuss and deliberate on the confronting issues and adopt resolutions which will be carried forward by the new team, it added.
