ANCSU suspends ‘Digital Protest’ till October 14

Kohima, October 13 (MExN): The All Nagaland College Students' Union (ANCSU) has temporarily suspended its ongoing 'Digital Protest' till October 14 as a mark of respect and admiration to Late CM Chang, who passed away on October 12. 

“As a mark of respect and admiration and also due to the declaration of state mourning declared by the State government for our tall leader, the union has decided to halt the ongoing digital protest till tomorrow i.e. October 14,” stated ANCSU in a statement. 

The remaining action of protest will continue from October 15 and will intensify until the demand of the union is fulfilled, it informed. Meanwhile, expressing sadness over the demise of the Minister of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, and Justice & Law, the union extended its condolences to the bereaved family.  

The Union further acknowledged the participation of everyone in the 'Digital Protest' against the alleged inaction of the State Government regarding the demand for appointing an ‘Enquiry Commission’ to probe fund utilization at Khelhoshe Polytechnic  in Atoizu.
