DIMAPUR, DECEMBER 2 (MExN): The Nagaland District Ministerial Service Association (ANDMSA) continues with its pen down and computer shut down stir across Dimapur district since November 27 till date.
According to a press release from ANDMSA, Dimapur unit general secretary, M Zachamo Ezung and information and publicity secretary Akaito Jimo, from day 1 - day 4, officials and volunteers of ANDMSA Dimapur unit made surprise checking in various departments under Dimapur district and found that some department were engaged in ministerial works.
As such the unit has reminded once again to maintain total shut down of work till December 8, 2017, and cautioned that action would be taken against any employee found working during this period as resolved in the general meeting.
The Dimapur unit, while reiterating its stand on the “non- release of pay bill” during the period of agitation warned all the department cashier and accountant not to submit the pay bill either to the treasuries or bank and not to exchange the token in the bank until the agitation and mass casual leave is completed on December 13, 2017.
The unit further requests all concerned to bear with the inconveniences and support the cause of the district ministerial staffs. The demands of the ANDMSA are amalgamation of District and Directorate Ministerial Cadre into Common Ministerial cadre; re- designation and elevation of HA and Sr. HA to District Superintendent Class I and Asstt. District Superintendent Class II, creation of District Superintendent Class I (Sr.HA) and Asstt. District Superintendent Class II (SDHA) in all the independent DDOs of district and sub division.
