ANDMSA units to continue agitation

Kohima/Wokha, November 30 (MExN): The Kohima and Wokha units of the All Nagaland District Ministerial Service Association (ANDMSA) have stated that they will continue with the “Pen down and Computer shutdown” strike.

The ANDMSA Kohima Unit in a press statement reaffirmed its stand on its parent body's directives and resolved to continue the agitation “until further directions from the parent body”.

The ANDMSA Wokha Unit, however, stated that it will continue its agitation till December 8 and resume with Mass Casual Leave from December 11 to 13 “if the State government fails to respond to its charter of demands.”

The agitation which entered its fourth day had brought most of the departments to a standstill due to the non cooperation from the district Ministerial staff, the ANDMSA Wokha unit observed.

In this connection, the ANDMSA’s Kohima and Wokha units appealed the general public, staff employees, DDOs and Department to understand the plights of the district Ministerial employees and bear with the inconveniences.
