Another newborn was found abandoned in Dimapur on June 4. According to the police, the newborn, a boy, was found in Singrijan, Dimapur today.
“The people who found the baby handed him over to the authorities and the baby is now admitted at a hospital,” said a police official.
On May 24, a newborn was found in similar circumstances at the State Stadium. It was preceded by another such incident in Kohima on May 23.
