Winners of the All Nagaland Private Schools’ Association Dimapur Unit District Level Literary Competition (Quiz & Extempore) on August 26.
DIMAPUR, AUGUST 26 (MExN): The All Nagaland Private Schools’ Association (ANPSA) Dimapur Unit organised a District Level Literary Competition (Quiz & Extempore) on August 26 where 18 schools participated.
The programme was attended by more than 700 students, teachers’ representatives and board members. Rev. Fr. Philip Y, Principal of Holy Cross Hr. Sec. School gave the welcome address as convenor; Neena Dutta, Treasurer, ANPSA & Principal of St. Mary’s Hr. Sec. School gave the vote of thanks. The event was attended by Reji George, Jt. Secretary & Trevor Murray, Jt. Treasurer. Uttam Singh was the Coordinator of the programme.
The quiz competition winners: 1st Position – Manchem Chang & Shahida Sultana (St. Marys Hr. Sec. School, Dimapur); and 2nd Position –Elijah Ronren Kikon & Debashree Hazarika (Pilgrim Hr. Sec. School).
The extempore competition winners were: 1st Position –Nomrita Mech (St. Marys Hr. Sec. School, Dimapur); 2nd Position –Amina Begum (MGM Hr. Sec. School); and 3rd Position – Imrongtula Jamir (Pilgrim Hr. Sec. School)
The winners for the competition were awarded with trophies and certificates and will participate in the State Level at Kohima.
