
DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 23 (MExN): All Nagaland PWD Field Workers Association (ANPWDFWA) in a letter to the Chief Minister, Nagaland, reminded of the regularisation of Work Charge employees who have completed 15 years of continued services in PWD (R&B) & Housing.
ANPWDFWA General Secretary stated in the letter that with reference to the Association’s letter dated February 23, 2011 regarding the regularization of Work Charges employees, the government had served letters Vide No CMN/16(B)/HOUSING/2011 dated April 5, 2011, but no response has been availed.
Thereafter the Association has been directed to carry out verification of Work Charge employees under NPWD (R&B) and (Housing) during June 2011, accordingly, the Association had conducted the verification and submitted the detail reports to the Government however, the same had not been responded.
Also another appeal letter dated September 17, 2012 had been submitted to the CM Office which was also forwarded to the concern authority for observation, but there has been no response. This was stated on a press release issued by the General Secretary, ANPWDFWA. Hence, all departmental associations joint general meeting was conducted on November 7 wherein a resolution was passed to serve an ultimatum to the government to fulfill the demands within November 25. The Association appeals the government to fulfill its demands within November 25, or the Association will be compelled to stick on the proposed indefinite agitation.
