ANSTA Tseminyu Division appeals

Kohima, Dec 3 (MExN): The executive members of the ANSTA Tseminyu division Unit held its annual meeting on the November 18 at Tseminyu Town. The meeting deliberated on important issues related to the association and people of the division and resolved to make an appeal to the department concerned for their clarification and necessary action for the interest and welfare of the people of the Sub-division.

The Association in the interest and welfare of the students appealed the power department for the regular supply of power to the division especially, during the annual and HSLC examination time. The Association also expressed its unhappiness on Tele-communication system under Tseminyu. Despite repeated appeals made by individual(s), both cable system and mobile network is a total failure, and the general public has been facing a lot of hardships due to this.It has further appealed to the department concerned to look into the matter immediately and see that there is a good network in the division.

The Association also, has also requested the department of School education to kindly clarify the Criteria for selection of teachers for Teacher’s award and to kindly distribute the Text books and other study materials to the respective DEOs and DISs on or before the re-opening of the schools. The Association also requested the department to declare the long pending UGT interview result and also request the department to expedite the implementation of ACP scheme to the deserving teachers. The Association, to encourage the students has decided to award the students in two categories. The student who bags the top position in class-IV board Exam, 2005 and the topper from first division holders in the Matric final examination 2006 under DIS Tseminyu will be awarded. The Executive members also decided to visit all the Govt. schools under Tseminyu in the next academic session. 

Meanwhile, it has informed all the ANSTA Tseminyu div. Unit members that the post of socio-cultural Secretary has been changed to “Information and Statistical Secretary” in its ex-meeting Res.no.4 dt. the 30th Sept’2005.
