DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 3 (MExN): The Ao Students’ Union Dimapur (ASUD) has issued a press note pointing out that it was constrained to condemn the treatment meted out to the ASUD by the Vice President of the Ao Union Dimapur (AUD). The press note issued by the ASUD President Sungkum Aier and General Secretary Imlikumzuk stated that it had held an emergency meeting on February 2, 2013 regarding the AUD’s letter dated 28th of January 2013 and that the ASUD had deliberated upon the decision made by the AUD on 22nd January 2013. The house had resolved to reply in written and said that the letter was as such handed over to the Vice President of AUD. “But to our utter surprise and dismay the ASUD office bearers were abused, insulted and threatened by the Vice President of the AUD”, the press note stated. Therefore the ASUD vehemently condemned the illogical and disrespectful act committed by the said leader of the AUD upon the ASUD.
