AOF organizes ‘Nanhe Chitrakaar’ in Kohima

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, Amway Opportunity Foundation (AOF) organized its pan India annual painting competition-Nanhe Chitrakaar in Kohima under the theme, ‘Wildlife and Environment’ on March 8 at the Amway Office, Kohima.  

Around fifty children participated in the competition including children from the Kohima Destitute & Orphanage Home- an NGO working for the underprivileged children. Painter Shesalu Tenenu, was the judge for the competition. In the category of 8-12 years, Tsoniu Shiu (12) won the first followed by Imkonglemla (10) and Sarah (8). In the category of 7-5 years, Vimesano (7) secured the first position followed by Khetan (7) and Kevizeto (6).       
                            
The central idea of the competition was to instill a spirit of brotherhood and foster a bond of partnership among the children of the distributors and the children from the Kohima Orphanage and Destitute Home. The vision of AOF is to ‘enable the lesser privileged child to lead a better life’ and its mission is ‘to be the front runner in providing opportunities in child education and health to attain
