Aoli Pongen Mungdang (APM) held its third Academic Excellence Award (2018-2022) at the residence of K Rongsenwati Pongen, Treasurer, APM at Aongza ward, Mokokchung. This award is given to Top 20 rank holders at the Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) HSLC (Class 10) exam.
Three students received the award namely Changangerjungla Pongener HSLC 2018 Top 10, Endiyala Pongen HSLC 2019 Top 12 and Imlitula Pongen HSLC 2021 Top 8.
During the award ceremony, Jubilee Memorial School (JMS) Vice Principal, Wapangnaro gave a short exhortation where she said that the world is now very competitive and therefore one should not be laid back but give extra efforts and to keep learning and growing until one reaches one's goal.
She encouraged the achievers by saying that this is just the beginning and they should keep greater goals and work towards achieving them. She also said that such awards are an encouragement to the students to work harder and appreciated the APM.
Out of the three recipients, two were present at the ceremony and they also spoke at the occasion. Aoli Pongen Mungdang, President, Sakuwati Pongen also gave a short exhortation. Education Trust Board Co-convener, K Imtituba chaired the programme.
