Chümoukedima, June 5 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner of Chümoukedima has invited applications from eligible candidates for appointment to a vacant government nominee member seat in the Chümoukedima Town Council (CTC).
According to a notification issued by the Deputy Commissioner's office, the recruitment is being undertaken pursuant to a communication from the Municipal Affairs Department, Nagaland, dated May 22, 2026, and under the powers conferred by Section 22(4) of the Nagaland Municipal Act, 2023.
The notification stated that applications are being sought to fill one vacant seat of Government Nominee Member in the Chümoukedima Town Council. Interested and eligible persons have been asked to submit their applications on or before June 23, 2026.
The administration clarified that applications received after the stipulated deadline will not be entertained. Further details regarding eligibility criteria and the application process can be obtained from the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Chümoukedima.
