Kohima, June 14 (MExN): Assam Rifles extended administrative assistance for a blood donation camp organised on the occasion of World Blood Donor Day at the Capital Convention Centre, Nagaland Civil Secretariat, Kohima, on June 14.
The camp, held under the theme, "One Drop of Humanity, Give Blood, Save Lives," was organised by the Kohima District Planning and Development Board in coordination with the Voluntary Blood Donors Association, Nagaland. The initiative aimed to promote voluntary blood donation and raise awareness about the importance of donating blood to save lives.
According to a press release, Assam Rifles provided five bedding sets to facilitate the smooth conduct of the camp and ensure the comfort of blood donors. The unit's Pipe Band also performed during the programme.
