AR battalions conduct health camp in Kiphire and Tuensang

Kiphire, July 24 (MExN): Kiphire Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) organised a free medical camps in Longkhimong, Tsurevong and Khong villages of Kiphire District on July 23.

A press release from the HQ IGAR (North)  stated that a total of 96 patients including 48 male, 35 female and 13 children received medical consultation and treatment for basic ailment. Free medicines were distributed and the importance of adhering to all precautions against Covid-19 and maintenance of personal hygiene also imparted

Meanwhile, the Tuensang Battalion Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) administered medical aid to an injured victim residing in border village of Monyakshu, Mon district. 

The individual sustained injury to his hand while chopping firewood and therein resulting in excess bleeding. Timely assistance helped in giving necessary relief to the individual apart from arresting the bleeding. 

“The individual was instructed to get the wound dressed at the COB on daily basis until complete recovery,” it added.
