Dimapur, October 14 (MExN): Phek and Kiphire Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (N) conducted activities at Losami village and Longmatre town respectively on October 12. Phek Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (N) distributed solar lights to residents of Losami village on October 12.

As per a press release from PRO, HQ IGAR (N), 88 solar lamps were gifted. In another event, the Battalion also conducted medical camp to provide free medical treatment and check-up to local populace. The medical team also visited houses of elderly people who were unable to attend the camp for health reasons. Kiphire Battalion of Assam Rifles organized an awareness lecture under the theme “Clean & Green Nagaland” at Longmatre town on October 12. 25 residents to include EAC and village functionaries attended the lecture.
