AR conducts medical camp at Aokum and Longnak

Mokokchung, February 17 (MExN): The 44 Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) organised a medical camp at Aokum village, Mokokchung district on February 15 with an aim to reach out to needy & medically deprived sections of society.  

Captain Saurav Dhand, Medical Officer, 44 Assam Rifles and paramedical staff of 44 Assam Rifles treated 142 patients to include 63 males, 62 females and 17 children of the area and distributed free medicines to the patients. There being no hospital in near vicinity, locals of far flung area also turned up for treatment.  

Also, the 44 Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) organised a medical camp at Longnak village, Mokokchung district on February 16 with an aim to reach out to needy & medically deprived sections of society.  

Captain Saurav Dhand, Medical Officer, 44 Assam Rifles and paramedical staff of 44 Assam Rifles treated 228 patients to include 86 males, 93 females and 49 children of the area and distributed free medicines to the patients. There being no hospital in near vicinity, locals of far flung area also turned up for treatment.  

The AR in a press release said that the villagers lauded the efforts of Assam Rifles for providing treatment to the poor and needy at their door steps.
