Kohima, June 27 (MExN): Various battalions of the Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) conducted various activities across Nagaland in the recent past, an official release informed.
The activities included vaccination cum awareness drive, provision of rations and assistance during a fire incident, informed the release from PRO, HQ IGAR (N)
Phek: The Phek Battalion of Assam Rifles in collaboration with District Task Force Phek organised a COVID vaccination cum awareness drive at Phek town on June 27.
A total of 229 persons including 191 individuals of 18-45 years age group and 37 in 45 years and above category got their 1st dose of vaccine while 1 person received the 2nd dose during the drive, the PRO release said.
The camp was conducted under the guidance of Razouvolie Dozo, DC Phek and medical team of Phek Battalion, it added. All the administrative arrangements including refreshments for the civil medical team were provided by the battalion.
Dimapur: The Dimapur Battalion of Assam Rifles along with 164 Naga TA provided ration at Aoyimkum village in Dimapur district on June 25. The ration were provided to daily wagers and needy inhabitants of the village affected by COVID-19 lockdown, as per the release.
