Army Recruitment Officer conducts outreach programmes

DIMAPUR, JANUARY 31 (MExN): In an effort to bolster recruitment for the Agniveer program, the Army Recruitment Officer from Rangapahar organized outreach sessions in Nagaland on January 30 and 31. The programmes, conducted in collaboration with Patkai Christian College and ICFAI University at Choumukedima, saw the participation of over 205 students, including 135 boys and 70 girls.

The sessions aimed to inform aspiring candidates about the Agnipath recruitment scheme, detailing its benefits, opportunities, and addressing queries. The outreach also covered officer entry schemes such as the National Defence Academy (NDA), Officers Training Academy (OTA), Military Nursing Services (MNS), and Territorial Army (TA).

Participants were briefed on eligibility criteria, application processes, and the selection procedures for each scheme. The sessions also provided insights into the structure of the Army and its various Arms and Services. In addition, handouts, posters, pamphlets, and other informational materials were distributed to attendees.
