Mokokchung, June 23 (MExN): The 9th Youth Conference of Artang Baptist Church successfully concluded today on the theme ‘Putu Yimsoshirtem’ (Generation reformers) at Artang Ward Mokokchung. The three day conference which began on June 21 is being held after every three years with an aim to promote youth activities and also to mold the personalities of the church youth members so that they can become responsible citizens in the society. Nearly five hundred youths from the church attended this youth conference. The participants were divided into four houses – Oslo, Sydney, Johannesburg and Mexico City – and there were different competitions like debate, solo, quartet, play, painting, elocution competitions etc. A panel discussion was also held on the theme where four panelist from different walks of life enlightened the youths and parents on Saturday’s devotional service.
