Arunachal Govt urged to talk with NSCN (K)

ITANAGAR, March 17 (Agencies): Concerned over the recent letter by NSCN (K) to MLAs of Tirap, Changlang the Society for Promotion of Nocte Indigenous Culture (SoPNIC) has urged a dialogue. The reported letter signed by NSCN (K) chief SS Khaplang, directed the 12 MLAs to withdraw support. Urging NSCN (K) to withdraw the letter it said, “This letter has done what killings, kidnappings, extortions, etc., in Tirap district for the last many years could not do. It has awakened the conscience of the people”.
