The Angami Sports Association (ASA) is all set to conduct its 47th meet 2019 from February 7 to 8 at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima.
Er. Zale Neikha, advisor youth resources & sports will be the special guest while Pfüduolhou Kense, advisor Nagaland Wrestling Association will be the guest of honour.
The meet will be marked by football (Men) and volleyball (Men & women).
The inaugural function on February 7 will start from 10: 00 AM onwards.
The function will be chaired by ASA vice president Neiketouzo Kenguruse while welcome address will be delivered by ASA president Viliehu Nguzhü.
ASA assistant games secretary Meyieto Sachii will administer oath to the participating teams.
Bentilo Rengma and Visasielie Suohu will act as match commissioners for football and volleyball event respectively.
The meet will be officiated by Kohima District Football Referees Association and Kohima District Volleyball Association.
The prize sponsors for football event includes; Kelhousithie Ziebu Kire (For champion), Thepfühulie Belho (2nd position and Kevipusa Kezieo (3rd position).
Volleyball (Men): Metekhrielie Mejura (For Champion), Tepunol Yore (2nd position) and Ruokuovikho Chale (3rd position).
Volleyball (Women): Mhiesielhoubei Khawakhrie (For champion), Beizo Suokhrie (2nd position) and Peteroko Zetsuvi (3rd position).
ASA informed that the players list must be submitted to the office bearers by evening of February 6.
Coach and manager of all units have been informed to attend the briefing at 2:00 PM at the venue on February 6.
