The five day long golden jubilee tournament of the Angami Sports Association (ASA) entered its second day here today at the Kohima Local Ground and Indoor Stadium. Parliamentary Secretary for Mechanical & NSMDC Er Vikho-o Yhoshii and Parliamentary Secretary for Music Task Force & State Lotteries Khriehu Liezietsu graced the day-two events as special guests.
Indoor games kicked start this evening at Indoor Stadium. It will continue till March 2.
Marathon race will take place on March 2. Chief patron Vilelie Khamo will flag off the race at Kohima Science College, Jotsoma at 6:00 AM. It will pass through PHQ junction, TCP gate, Razhii point, Tinpati, DBS, BSF Check gate, Seikhazou and finish at Kohima Local Ground.
MLA Er. Kropol Vitsu will grace Football/Volleyball events at 9:00 AM on March 2 at Kohima Local Ground.
Meanwhile, ASA general secretary Er Zale Neikha informed that there will be a briefing for wrestling tournament on March 2 at 1:00 PM at Kohima Local Ground.
All officials assigned for the said event have been requested to attend the same.
He also stated that there will be volleyball exhibition match between ASA and AYO officials on March 2 at 2:00 PM.
