Kohima, February 9 (MExN): The Angami Sports Association (ASA) in commemoration of its golden jubilee (1967-2017) is organizing a Sports Meet from February 14 to 18 at Khuochiezie Local Ground, Kohima. The athletes and games will be held from February 14 to 17 and Naga style wrestling will take place on February 18. The wrestling champion will walk away with cash prize of Rs. 2, 50,000 while the 1st, 2nd and 3rd runners up will get Rs. 2 lakh, 1, 50,000 and Rs. 1 lakh respectively. Tickets for wrestling event are available at Rs. 2000 (donors), Rs. 500 (chair) and Rs. 100 (gallery). The sports meet will be managed by the Western Angami Catholic Union (WACU). WACU Steering Committee has informed all the committee members to attend the 4th final consultative meeting on February 12 at Sechii Zubza.
