Dimapur, November 5 (MExN): A total of 463 Girl Cadets and 6 civilian attended a lecture titled “Join the Indian Army and Gallantry Award Winners” organised by 3 (NH) Battalion Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North).
The lecture was conducted for the cadets of 1st NCC Battalion attending NCC annual training camp at Sazolie College, Jotsoma, Kohima District on 30-31 October, informed a press release from PRO HQ IGAR (North).
Besides, an awareness lecture on health and hygiene as well as a weapon display was organised to impart the basic knowledge of weapons and motivate the cadets to join the Indian Armed Forces through various entries schemes, it said.
“The eligibility criteria like age qualification and physical standards for joining CDS and NCC entry scheme were also informed,” it added
