Assam Rifles in collaboration with Sunbird Trust distributed Solar Street lights in Mon and Tuensang districts.
MON/TUENSANG, MAY 14 (MExN): With an aim to promote renewable energy resources, Assam Rifles in collaboration with Sunbird Trust distributed 56 Solar Street lights in Tanhai, Totak Chingnyu and Longmein villages of Mon district and in Chungotore, FIC (Angangba) and Sangsomong villages of Tuensang district.
The combined team visited the villages, distributed the lamps, educated the villagers on installation, maintenance and usage of these lights. This initiative brings out the positive impact.
The solar lights will provide reliable and eco-friendly illumination, benefiting over 3809 residents of these villages. This collaborative effort reinforces the dedication of Assam Rifles' to community development in remote areas.
