Kohima, November 4 (MExN): Kohima Battalion Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) conducted a medical camp at Kohima Village, Kohima District on November 2. The aim of the medical camp was to provide free medical treatment to the local populace by medical team under Regimental Medical Officer, 3 (Naga Hill) Battalion Assam Rifles. A total of 136 patients including 42 male, 76 female and 18 children were examined. Medicines were distributed to the ailing patients. Basic awareness on health education including precaution from common viral diseases, importance of hygiene and sanitation was also imparted.
