Assemblies of God of East India hold conference in Nagaland

Assemblies of God of East India held its 27th triennial general conference at Bethesda Celebration Centre, Dimapur (Nagaland) from January 11 to 13.

Assemblies of God of East India held its 27th triennial general conference at Bethesda Celebration Centre, Dimapur (Nagaland) from January 11 to 13.

Dimapur, January 13 (MExN): The Assemblies of God of East India (AGEI) held its 27th triennial general conference at Bethesda Celebration Centre, Dimapur (Nagaland) under the theme ‘Prayer revival and mission’ from January 11 to 13. 

Around 500 delegates attended the conference representing all the Assemblies of God Churches of seven states of East India.

The conference speakers were Rev Paul Thangiah, General Superintendent, Assemblies of God India and Rev Moses Murry, General Superintendent, AGEI.

The speakers spoke on the need to live a life modelled by prayer and to carry the passion for revival and missions. We live in a time where our city, churches and nations desperately need God and for a genuine revival and mission to come in our churches and across our nation, we need to come together and seek Him earnestly, stated a press release from the AGEI. 

Ordination service 
During the conference, ordination service was also conducted. Ordination was given to Rev Lama Lorah and Rev Kijen Phecha from Arunachal District; Rev Om Tamang and Rev Manoranjan Dutta from  Assam; Rev Soiliankhup from Manipur; Rev Nehmang Haokip and Rev L Somendro from Manipur Hill; Rev Aiborbansuk Thabah from Meghalaya; Rev Paul Lalchungnunga from Mizoram; and Rev Kevihulie Pienyu and Rev Nikhilson Momin from Nagaland.

New office bearers 
New office bearers for AGEI 2023-25 were also elected with General Superintendent-Rev Moses Murry; Assistant General Superintendent-Rev Dr MS Nongrem; General Secretary-Rev R Sanga Keivom; Treasurer-Rev Th Kuala and Executive members- Rev Dr Jacky Simte, Rev ZS Lala and Rev Krishna Debbarma.
Rev R Sanga Keivom, General Secretary delivered the vote of thanks.
