Pfütsero, March 1 (MExN): As notified by the Department of Urban Development, Nagaland, ADC & Administrator, Pfütsero sub-division informed that an intensive cleanliness drive was held at Pfutsero town on February 26. The assessment of wards for Cleanest ULB/cleanest ward will commence from March 1 to 31, a DIPR report stated.
Some of the criteria includes: All the wards should be ‘Garbage Free’; All the wards should be ‘Plastic Free’; All the drains (nullas)/streets in respective wards need to be cleared; Cleaning of respective house compounds and surroundings; Traders to clean their respective vicinity; Innovative practices adopted by the wards in waste management.
Likewise, all the Government Departments have been directed to conduct cleanliness drives in their respective office premises, the ADC informed.
