Kohima, May 5 (MExN): The Angami Students' Union (ASU) held its ceremonial "Change of Guard" of the new executive officials on May 5 at ASU Hq. Office, Kohima.
Diezevisie Nakhro took over the charge as president of ASU for tenure 2025-27 in the presence of senior leaders and tribunals.
In his speech, Nakhro pledged that he and his team will endeavour to serve the office to the best of their abilities and also sought seniors to contribute their wisdom to strengthen the union.
Short speech was delivered by outgoing president Khriesamhalie David Mere.
Kezhazer Angami, chairman, Election Commission & former president ASU exhorted the gathering.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by Metebo-o Sote. Zhasakholie Kehie invoked God’s blessings.
