Zunheboto, August 2 (MExN): Asuto village under Suruhoto Block and Lumithsami village under Akuluto block in Zunheboto attained 100% vaccination of all the eligible beneficiaries with first dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
The village GBs and elders came forward with a determination to vaccinate all its eligible citizens with the COVID-19 vaccine to make the village 100% vaccinated, a press release from CMO Office Zunheboto, District Media Officer, Shekho Sophie stated. The medical staffs led by Dr Tonoto, MO I/c Asuto PHC and Dr Sukhai, MOi/c Akuluto PHC visited the villages and after five sessions of vaccination, the team vaccinated all the eligible beneficiaries in the presence of GBs and village elders.
Asuto village vaccinated 48 eligible beneficiaries and Lumithsami village vaccinated 224 eligible beneficiaries with first dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
