At Risk for Progress

Construction workers move from villages to commercial centers or urban places in search of work opportunities and better living standard. Most of the construction workers in Nagaland usually work without proper safety gear making it more vulnerable for the labourer and are exposed to health hazards. They are also exposed to many diseases from their work places due to negligence of health awareness, especially respiratory issues from constantly inhaling paint fumes, cement particles and construction dust.
