ATMA launches FSG at Peducha

Kohima, May 18 (MExN): Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) Sechü-Zubza block launched a Food Security Group (FSG) at Peducha on May 17. During the programme, an introduction on the concept of Food Security Group (FSG), guidelines of formation and activities was shared by ATM Thejavizonuo Kelio. Kelio also gave demonstration on ‘Mirliton Plantation’, whereby she explained on its various health benefits, methods of plantation and storage.   Meanwhile, demonstrations on ‘Composite Fish Culture’ and ‘Integrated Fish Farming’ were conducted by BTM Kajini Isabella Zinyu. She gave instructions on fish species involved in composite fish culture, its compatibility and feeding habits. She also spoke on various possible combinations and benefits under integrated fish farming. Altogether 17 participants along with the functionaries attended the programme.
