Zunheboto, November 7 (MExN): The Atoizu Area GBs Union while expressing shock over the proposal for transfer of ADC Atoizu, Arikumba to Naginimora has stated that the officer should be retained in his present place of posting in view of the present law and order situation in Atoizu. “The name of Arikumba was not included/referred to even in the CSB and it came as a shock that the name of the NCS officer (Arikumba) has been proposed to be transferred from Atoizu,” said the GBs Union in a press statement issued by its president, Khehoto Chishi. “We find that there was a procedural lapse in this instant case.”
Moreover, it said, it has only been 3 months since the incumbent officer was posted in Atoizu. “Taking into account the prevailing law and order situation in Atoizu area, we feel it most necessary that the incumbent should be retained in his present place of posting in the interest of peace, tranquility and welfare of the public in Atoizu range,” the statement added.
