Zunheboto, August 24 (MExN): The District Administration of Atoizu, in a joint inspection-cum-coordination drive, found the offices of the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) and the Forest Department closed despite prior intimation, a press release said on Monday.
The inspection-cum-coordination meeting was conducted by the District Administration, Atoizu, in collaboration with the Atoizu Town Council, Gaon Buras, Sumi Totomi Loka Atoizu, Sumi Totomi Loka Asukhuto, Students’ Union Atoizu Town and Students’ Union Asukhuto Town.
As part of the programme, the team visited various government offices and institutions in Atoizu, including Khelhoshe Polytechnic, Atoizu; offices of Executive Engineer, PWD (R&B), and Sub-Divisional Officer, PWD (R&B); Sub-Divisional Education Office; Police Station; Primary Health Centre; Sub-District Industries Centre; Government High School; Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Department; Power Department; Public Health Engineering Department (PHED); Forest Department; and Horticulture Farm.
Following the inspections, a coordination and consultative meeting was held with representatives of the concerned departments and stakeholders. During the meeting, grievances were shared, proposals were put forward, and the needs and requirements of various offices and institutions were apprised to the District Administration for appropriate consideration and necessary action.
