
Wokha, February 1 (MExN): An auto rickshaw rally was organised by the Emmanuel Hospital Association (EHA) in collaboration with Wokha District Auto Rickshaw Union and Project Axshya Partner NGOs (CYSA, TWS, YS and AGAPE) on January 31.
Project Axshya- GFTB-9- EHA, District Coordinator, Veluhu Vero said in a press release that SDO (Civil) Wokha, Nokcha Sashi Ao flagged off the auto rickshaw rally in the presence of Deputy Chief Medical Officer, Dr WN Ezung, District TB Officer Wokha, Dr. Robin Lotha.
Dr Robin Lotha, DTO Wokha gave the message to the gathering that TB is an airborne disease and is not a hereditary disease, which is curable. The treatments are provided high quality drugs free of cost under DOTS. He also appealed to the drivers in their profession to spread and share the message that may help a person in need. A total number of 36 autos volunteered to participate in the rally. District Coordinator Project Axshya-EHA Veluhu Vero coordinated the rally and he expressed gratitude to the auto union for their voluntary service.
