Awareness campaign on PM-KMY in Naginimora

An official addressing the awareness campaign on Pradhan Mantri Maan-Dhan Yojana (PM-KMY) conducted by the Sub-Divisional Agriculture Office, Naginimora on October 9. 

Mon, October 11 (MExN): A one-day awareness campaign on Pradhan Mantri Maan-Dhan Yojana (PM-KMY) was conducted by the Sub-Divisional Agriculture Office, Naginimora on October 9. 

Menlom Phom, EAC Naginimora, who attended the programme as a special guest, urged the farmers to avail the scheme and encouraged them to register under the programme. Lawrence, SDAO Naginimora, explained the guidelines and features of the scheme. Pongmei Konyak, CSC Manager, Naginimoraalso spoke on the registration process for the scheme. 

Pradhan Mantri Maan-Dhan Yojana (PM-KMY) is a voluntary and contributory pension scheme for the entry group of 18-40 years. It provides an assured monthly pension of Rs 3000 per month to Small and Marginal Farmers (SMFs) on attaining the age of 60 years with a monthly member’s contribution ranging from Rs 55-200 as per the age of entry. A total of 70 farmers from Naginimora and surrounding villages attended the programme.
