Wokha, September 3 (MExN): Ayush Health and Wellness Centre (AHWC) Lotsu under Sanis Sub division, Wokha was renovated and dedicated on September 3 by Dr Zuben Kikon, Deputy Chief Medical Officer Wokha.
According to a press release, Lotsu village council chairperson R Thechamo Ovung informed that the medical centre was run by a medical staff without a doctor prior to the renovation. However, with the renovation and dedication, a medical officer will be posted at the centre.
During the dedication programme, medicines along with oxygen cylinders were handed over to Dr Thungjanthung Ovung who is the Medical Officer of AHWC, Lotsu.
The renovation of the building included construction of one chamber for doctors, a Yoga Hall and electrification. The centre was dedicated by Rev R Zaremo Tsanglao while R Thechamo Ovung, the chairman of Lotsu village council chaired the dedication programme.
