
Kohima, March 6 (MExN): MLA and NPF Legislature Party leader Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu today appealed all the people of 19 Phek AC to maintain peace and tranquillity in the constituency.
“It is my earnest request to every individual to abstain from violence as the elections are over and that it is unnecessary to get involved in activities that would hamper the peace and stability of our constituency,” Azo stated in an appeal note.
He also requested all NPF party rank & file not be discouraged by the recent results of the general elections, “and at the same time not play blame game but to share moral responsibility for the lost.”
He stated that winning just 2 seats alone will not be the end of the oldest regional party but a revival of the Party in all forms.
Stating that the battles have just begun “for us all,” he stated “Let us not lose hope, be hopeful in prayer and trust God’s timing for us all.”
