Meanwhile the Kohima police acknowledged the co-operation of various private vehicle owners and Government Departments in voluntarily removing tinted films from the wind shields of vehicles in pursuance of the directions of the Supreme Court. While appreciating the same and, inspite of the continual effort of the police to enforce the Apex Court’s directions, many including Government vehicles have continued to violate them, the SP observed in his press note.
