Kohima, March 4 (MExN): The annual marathon race of Baptist High, Kohima took place with the theme “Keep the faith- Run the race” on March 4.
Speaking on the occasion, Pheluopfelie Kesiezie, chairman school management board, encouraged the students to give their best in everything.
He also challenged the students to keep two things in mind to do well in life, i.e hard work and stay fit.
Later, Kesiezie flagged off the marathon race.
The programme was chaired by Weto Losou, Vice Principal while prayer was pronounced by Rev Dr M Savi, the Managing Director of the school. The winners were conferred with cash awards and certificates.
The school extended its gratitude to the Officer-in-charge of traffic, North Police Station Kohima for the assistance, and also to all the teachers and well wishers for the success of the event.
