The Baptist School Pfutsero today celebrated its silver jubilee with Nagaland Planning & Co-ordination, Land Revenue and Parliamentary Affairs, Minister Neiba Kronu as the guest speaker.

The minister asked the students to minimise the use of mobile phone and do not let the technology to control over them. Gadgets are useful but it has also potential to spoil the one who do not use the same in a wise manner, he said.

The minister encouraged the students to have a vision and apply their minds and stay focus to what they want to do. Asking the students not to worry about getting jobs, he said “Job is everywhere in the world.”

He, however, said that the world is looking for sincere and a person of quality in the corporate sectors.

Kronu informed that one should not take the government as the sole provider of jobs. He asked the parents to give adequate time to their children and guide them into the right direction.

Meanwhile, he called upon the public and stakeholders of Pfutsero to put united efforts in creating Pfutsero a learning center of excellence. He stressed on the need to strengthen the atmosphere of punctuality and civic sense to march with the civilized world.
